Krav Maga is characterized by the fact that it is simple, natural and effective and is regarded as today's most effective and solution-oriented self-defense system.
Stockholm's Krav Maga Club is part of the international organization Krav Maga Global (KMG). This means that we train according to the original self-defense system founded by Imi Lichtenfeld, which is still used today by the military in the Israeli Defense Force and civilians around the world. Krav Maga is today being developed by Imi's chosen successor Eyal Yanilov. The techniques found in Krav Maga are constantly being tested, modified and improved to match the threats and attacks that are most occurrent today.
OUR INSTRUCTORS
The instructors at Stockholm's Krav Maga Club have all gone through Krav Maga Global's instructor course. KMG has the best and hardest instructor course on the market, as with its 190 hours it is the longest available today in Sweden and internationally. In addition to the basic education, there are many opportunities for skills development and a number of additional courses, eg. kids instructor course and women instructor course. All approved KMG instructors also have a requirement to participate in a certain number of instructor updates each year to maintain their license.
